November's End

Reproduction rug from the book American Hooked and Sewn Rugs
by Joel and Kate Kopp - hooked by Sunnie

November certainly went fast!!! Whew!
I hope everyone had a lovely Thanksgiving!

Of course, preparing for and doing the 4-day Vermont Hand
Crafter's show in Burlington Vermont helped the time go by quickly. I had an absolutely wonderful show and I'm so thankful for all the friends and customers who stopped by the booth to say Hello. Almost all of my Santas and Christmas Peddlers went to new homes and I was delighted to sell 4 rugs and take a commission for another! So I am tired but happy!!!!
We have snow now, not a great deal yet but several inches on the ground...so we are shoveling!!!
I look forward to Winter in Vermont because I have such a lot of time for rug hooking and dreaming while the snow floats softly down. We don't have to go anywhere much so we just relax and enjoy! I must take time to put up our little tree and put the candles in the windows.
I hope you all have a pleasant and quiet Winter with much happiness and a lovely Christmas too.

Sunny Friday!

One of my favourite Santas from a previous year...Amish patchwork!

Well, we are into November and I'm up to my eyeballs in Santas and rugs! I'll be working away until the day before the Vermont Hand Crafters show! It's always a fun time.
